Our
Chronicles
by Christopher and Daniel
April 17, 2007 - Christopher
Well, here we are just hanging out with Mommy and Daddy, 2 days after our christenings and we are still trying to dry out from all that water. The question is "Do we look more SAINTLY"?
Hi Everyone. We are going to Start this page from April 17th and end it on August 29th. New Page will start sometime in September

Finally dried out and we are on our way to Grandma and Pop-E to meet some relatives that we have not seem before and maybe Pop-E will take us for another ride in that great stroller he has. As usually, I wake up as soon as we get there because I always think it is time to eat and Christopher makes out he is sleeping until he gets the "lay of the land"  which means "who is he going to see when he opens his eyes"
In addition to Grandma and Pop-E, Uncle Scott was there along with Great Aunt Mackie (she was the one whose name is in Bobby Darin's song - "Mack the Knife") who is Grandma's older sister and who we saw at our christening. The new relatives we met were Great Uncle Dom (he was at his high school's 50th reunion the night before - 50th, how old could he be?), Grandma's Nephew Chris and his wife Lisa and their daughter Colby who is going to be 3 very soon. Also there was cousin Teresa, who is married to Grandma's 1st cousin Gasper (but he could not come because he was refereeing some basketball game - wonder if he was one of the "zebras" we saw during March Madness - maybe even the one that was making all those bad calls.

It's been pretty quit around here. After all the "hecktiness" - is there such a word - of the preparation for the christening, we took some R&R to recharge our batteries and prepare for the next big even - CHECKUP WITH THE DOCTOR. That's right, it's that time again - our 4 month checkup - more shots, more nakedness, more bad tasting medicine and more poking and jabbing. Before we get into details we thought that you may want to see what our Daddy's numbers were at our age - remember we are really one month behind, since we were born one month early

Daddy
3 months - 13 lbs 4 oz and 24 1/2 inch
4 months - 15 lbs 2 oz and 26 1/2 inch
And  the "BIG WEIGH IN"  at 4 months shows

Daniel - 13 lbs 6 oz and 24 inch tall
Head Size 16.5 inch

Christopher - 12 lbs and 24 inch tall
Head Size - 15 inch
We are both A-OK and can now start eating RICE CEREAL - Hear that PopPop - start the GRILL - you do grill Rice Cereal, DON'T You!

Headed off to Grandma and Pop-E's for a quite Sunday. Just sandwiches and soda and water for the adults and of course formula for us. . This way, Grandma gets to hold and play with us. Uncle Scott was also there to see us . Since it was a little chilly, we could not go for a ride in the stroller, but Pop-E had brought two great baby seats that vibrate, play music and have animals that talk to us. He only had one put together but we both wanted to sit in it at the same time so Pop-E told Daddy to put the other one together - Amazing! he was able to do it and "SO QUICKLTY".
It was a quite day - Daniel only screamed for a little while and not to loud and I only has a touch of GAS a couple of times but I have learned to get rid of it and "boy" does it feel good. I don't remember if I mentioned it but I had my formula changed because of all the gas I was getting. Now I am strictly a "SOY" baby". We were getting ready to leave because we were out Friday and Saturday and needed some sack time in our nice warm cribs. Daddy put us in our seats and Pop-E and Daddy carried us to the car. Now it is a known fact that once you put us in our car seats, Mommy and Daddy only have 5 minutes to get the car moving or we start crying.
Everything was on schedule, we were in the car, the engine was running, Daddy was just about to hit the gas petal, when all of a sudden, a SUV pulled up next to us and a women jump out  - Talk about "DAJA VU".  We both screams for Pop-E to saves us , when Grandma said Hi Robin (Robin is the neighbor next store), these are my Grandsons, Daniel and Christopher. Daniel smiled and I started to cry, because it was passed my 5 minute tolerance point - that got Daddy to say we have to leave, the car started to move and I was asleep before we hit the corner. Next Sunday is a big day for Mommy - Mother's Day - her 1st as a Mommy. Daniel and I have to start thinking about what to get her and when we decide, how we can get the message to Daddy? Stay tune for that story!

May 10, 2007
When we woke this morning, we thought it was Saturday or Sunday since Daddy was still in his PJs which usually means - NO WORK. That’s when he told us he was on vacation until he started his new job with Goldman Sacks on June 4th.
We knew he was looking for a new job for some time since the family expenses have gone up since we were born and Daniel went on an eating “bender” that has not stopped.
Any way Daddy got offers from Deutsche Bank and Goldman Sacks. He turned down the Deutsche Bank offer because he was really interested in the GS job. GS finally gave him the A-OK and all he needed to do was pass a drug test and background check. When he told UBS last night that he was leaving they told him to take his 2 weeks vacation immediately and since we are going to Hawaii on May 20th (more about that later) he decided to start his new job on the 4th.
Well the 1st day home, Mommy needed some well earned time off , so Mommy and Grammy went to the Jackson outlets to do some shopping for our upcoming trip.
Pop-E had spoke to Daddy yesterday and Daddy said that if he was not doing anything why not come up and see us. Pop-E arrived about noon – Mommy had left some time before that – Daddy was feeding me and Daniel was playing in his crib. Pop-E went in to see Daniel – Daniel looked at him and said you are not my Daddy, I want my Mommy and started to cry. Pop-E pick him up and brought him in to see Daddy and Me, and I said to him – Daniel it is Pop-E, you know him. Daniel looked at Daddy and me and started to smile. He finally realized who was holding him.
Mommy called ever hour to see how Daddy and Pop-E were doing since this was the longest she had ever left us. We were good until Daniel and I decided to see if we could get Pop-E to change a DIAPER. Pop-E was holding me and I sought of smiled – you know that smile that says I just got a warm feeling in my diaper. Pop-E assumed that I was wet and told Daddy that He was going to change me – this was going to be the 1st diaper Pop-E had to change since Daddy’s was a baby – and Pop- E felt a wet one was a safe way to begin again. Well guess what – it was not a wet diaper but one of the biggest “BM” I have produced in a long time. Pop-E said you little “sucker”, you certainly got me, but he “sucked” it up and changed the diaper. His 1st and a rememberable one – in fact Daniel and I were surprised he did not take a picture or saved it – maybe he did!
Mommy finally came home, just in time to feed us and Pop-E left because he had to race to a DHL box in Westfield to drop off material that Daddy needed to get to GS the next day.  In was nice to see Mommy again, not that Daddy and Pop-E did not take take good care of us - but there in nothing like a MOMMY!
May 13, 2007
Mother’s Day and our Mommy 1st Mother’s day as a Mommy. And the best part of the day is our Mommy, Grammy and Grandma are all going to be together to celebrate with us. We are going to Grandma and Pop-E’s for a BBQ and other possibilities (PopPop is making some things and we will bet it won't be potato salad) but we may not make it to the deck because there is going to be a chill in the air. Everyone is going over about 5pm, since Grammy and PopPop are doing volunteer work at a soup kitchen in Plainfield – we wonder what that really is – do you think they really serve soup – who knows, maybe some day they will take us there to eat.
As usually, when we arrived I was awake and Christopher was sleeping, until he heard the familiar voices - Grandma, Pop-E, Uncle Scott and then his eyes opened and he gave them a big smile. Then Grammy, PopPop and Uncle Michael came and most of the adults were sitting on the deck having snacks and drinks, while Grammy and Grandma feed us inside. After we were finished Grammy and Grandma decided to take us out on the deck. It was a little chilly but they covered us up to keep us warm.
Uncle Scott, was grilling chicken and bratwurst and PopPop was grilling potatoes , stuffed tomatoes and stuffed jalapeno peppers - we told you that it was not going to be potatoe salad - does PopPop even know how to make that "simple" dish. When the food was ready, we were put down for a nap - which did not last long - but gave the adults some time to eat, drink and talk.
May 17, 2007
We had to pay a quick visit to the doctor because Mommy and Daddy thought we had colds or something and we are getting ready for our trip to Hawaii on the 20th for our Uncle David’s wedding. Everything was A-OK and the trip is on. We also now weight 13 pounds (Christopher) and 15 pounds (Daniel).
May 20,2007
Well out trip to Hawaii started a little shaky before we arrived at the airport for our 7am flight. Mommy and Daddy’s alarm went off at 3:30am and guess what – neither of them appeared to hear it, so Christopher had to take matters into his own hands and started crying to get them going. Once up, everything went smoothly - feeding, drinking, washing, changing diapers, packing the car and finally the 4 of us jumping in the car. At 4:30am we headed for Grammy and PopPop’s house to meet them and Pop-E (he was going to drive us, while PopPop’s friend Joe was taking them, Uncle Mike and cousin Neil).
Charging down Bonnie Burn Road, it finally dawned on Daddy that his medicine was still sitting on the Dinning room table. All Daddy kept saying was "what was Pop-E going to say since Pop-E had been telling Daddy for 2 weeks to put his medicine in his carry on bag" – of course from Christopher and my point of views, we felt lucky that it was the medicine and not one of us or Mommy that was left behind.
Anyway we got to Grammy and PopPop’s, Pop-E got in our car and we headed back to our condo for the medicine.
Finally got going in the right direction and we were shooting down route 78 to Newark airport, when Pop-E asked Daddy he going to fly the car straight to Hawaii – I guess Daddy was “putting the pedal to the metal”
We got to the airport, with time to spare - a little time anyway and Uncle Michael came over to help us get anything in to the terminal - 2 car seats, 3 big suitcases, 2 carry-ons (that does not mean us) and a stroller, which were were seating in.
Pop-E took the picture of us just before he had to move the car.  Now realize it is 5:30am so we are not as "CHIPPER" as we usually are

The Hawaii Trip
In case anyone did not know, we went to Hawaii for our Uncle David and Aunt Charisse wedding. We had a great time with Mommy, Daddy, Grammy, PopPop, Uncle Michael, Cousin Neal, Aunt Charisse's parents and of course, cousin Madilyn. One of the interesting  points of the trip (i.e. in addition to the wedding) is that Mommy was taken us for a stroll and we saw this duck, who look just like the one we see in Basking Ridge. Now we did not know that they even had ducks in Hawaii, so we thought that he had followed us from home. When we got back to the condo, we told Daddy   (who was recouping from jet lag) all the about the duck and his words of wisdom were "GET A GRIP" - no duck could fly that far. Maybe so, but we think he did. We are going to check to see if he shows up in Basking Ridge when we get back. By the way we named him "DC", after Uncle David and Aunt Charisse
The whole trip we enjoyable, eating in restaurants, sight seeing and swimming in the Pacific. Can you believe the we are probably 2 of only a few people who live in NJ who took their 1st Ocean DIP in the PACIFIC OCEAN
May 28, 2007
We finally arrived back in NJ (1 & 1/2 hours late) and guess who was there to meet us – Yep, Pop-E. He was there to drive us home. When we all got in the car he asked Mommy and Daddy did they want him to drive us home or to his house and then Daddy would drive us home. They said to his house but 5 minutes later, Mommy took a good look at Daddy with his eyes half closed and told Pop-E that maybe it was better if he drove us home – Daddy didn't’ raise any objections.
Anyway we finally arrived at our condo and Mommy and Pop-E carried us in while Daddy unloaded the car. Mommy put a blanket on the floor and took Daniel out of his car seat and put him on the blanket. Now everyone knows that Daniel is sort of a laid back guy and usually just lies there looking around. Well let me tell you – he was like a pig in mud – moving his arm and legs, laughing and smiling and just thankful that he finally had all that space to stretch out. Being held by Mommy and Daddy is great but for 15 straight hours -  PLEASE!
Mommy then took me out and put me on the blanket. And for some reason I was also the opposite of what I usually am. I just laid there looking at Pop-E trying to get him to pick me up and give me a big hug. Finally he got my message and pick me up. I put my head on his shoulder and said to myself “it’s great to be back home”. Pop-E then put me on the blanket next to Daniel and Daniel and I had a great time moving, rolling and just laughing and telling each other how great it was to be able to stretch and be on solid ground.

June 10, 2007
We think we may finally be back on Eastern Standard Time, however we still have some shaky nights. We are heading to Grandma and Pop-E’s house to see them and Aunt Jess and Uncle Gregory and talk to our new cousin who will be born in November. We mentioned once before that babies can communicate with each other all the time. Anyway Whitney and Chris (Aunt Jess’s sister and her husband) will be there (we have not seem them before) but we will bet that Whitney is going to want to hold us. When we arrived, the usual - had changed - instead of me (Christopher) being asleep and Daniel being wake, I was awake and Daniel was sleeping. Maybe we have not really adjusted to the return trip from Hawaii.
The Other strange think is that before the trip Daniel always wanted to see where Mommy was, while I was sought of interested in making new friends and would let anyone hold me. Now I am always looking for Mommy and Daniel let’s anyone hold him. Maybe the trip to Hawaii and the return trip took us through some type of “WARP” – you know like in Star Trek.
June 17, 2007
Daddy’s big day – his 1st Father’s day as a Daddy. And as a our special gift we sleep extra long this morning. We are going to Grammy and PopPop’s for a BBQ with Grandma, Pop-E, Uncle Scott and Uncle Michael and of course Mommy and Daddy.
We think Uncle Mike is going to do most of the grilling - but does it really matter to us - we are still on formula, cereal and now vegetables - when are we going to get some good tasting stuff, like the peaches that Pop-E always talk about. The adults enjoyed the food - shrimp, filet mignon, potatoes, stuffed tomatoes and Italian pastries and a big chocolate cake and of course wine, beer and vodka.
June 24, 2007
Well we woke up this morning and  thought someone had robbed the house since we did not see any of our toys and play things. Maybe our 1st experience with the police.
Mommy and Daddy finally told us that there was no robbery. Mommy was going to a baby shower for Aunt Laura (Mommy's Maid of Honor) who is expecting a baby girl in August. Dad was going to show the condo (thus things were out of sight) to someone he use to work with and Grandma and Pop-E were coming over to get us out of the condo.
Yeah, that's right, Daddy wanted us out of the condo when the guy showed up - like we are bad - we could have help the sale, with a few smiles, some laughter and of course letting people hold us.
June 4, 2007
Daddy was up at dawn this morning because he starts his new job at Goldman Sachs & Co. He decided to take the train from Baking Ridge, change in Hoboken for the PATH train to lower Manhattan and them walk the 10 blocks to his new office at 85 Broad St. When he got home at about 10pm - he missed the 7:32pm train out of Hoboken (and the next one was not until 8:45pm) - we could hear him telling Mommy, there must be a better way. He now still gets up early, but drives to Fanwood and parks at Grammy and PopPop's house. Then walks to the train. He seems to think that it is easier since there are more trains at night on the Fanwood line then on the Basking Ridge line. Oh, another item of interest is that Mommy and Daddy have put the condo up for sale so that they can buy a house, maybe in the Cranford area to make Daddy's commute easier. We well keep up up to-date on that situation as it unfolds.

Of course we had more shots and Daniel always gets a slight fever and feels down for a few days afterwards. But I just tell the DOC that I will take some of Daniel's since they never seem to bother me. That what brothers (especially twins) do for each other.
I must be doing something wrong. I am eating more, especially vegetables, then Daniel but he just keeps putting on the weight. Maybe someone is slipping him some STERIODS.
HYE Pop-E where are those PEACHES you keep telling me about. I need an EDGE.
July 6, 2007
We went to Chatham to visit a friend of Daddy's from college - Lindsay (aka Linzer-Tart, as Pop-E use to call her) and her husband Patrick. Also there were other Fairfield Alumni - Lee and his wife Kelly (they are the ones that got married in the Dominic Republic - the wedding Daddy went to by himself and came home with nice case of too much sun) and Jim Tabery. Lindsay took these pictures.
They all thought we were so cute, especially Lindsay who had only seem pictures of us on the website. You know, we are cute, even more so in person.

A day to remember. Isn't 07-07-07 supposed to be a very lucky day? Daddy probably didn't even buy a lottery ticket. Mommy and Daddy took us to a professional photographer at "Babies r US" to have our 6 month old pictures taken. Well 6 months, 8 days - but who's counting. It did not take long to conclude that this "professional" did not enjoy working with babies (we think it was because we were boys) and she was probably a plant for Play Girl magazine who were looking for future possibilities. You don't think that is possible - look at these 1st poses -  We think this use to be called "CHEESECAKE". PopPop and Pop-E can do just as good and they enjoy being with us.
July 21, 2007
Heading back to Grandma and Pop-E's house because some people are coming to see the condo. We got there about 10:30 and Grandma was waiting for us. She was better and could not wait to hold us and feed us. Pop-E was at the gym, trying to get in shape so that he could hold his 3 grandchildren come November. Grandma had the comforter all ready for us and we were laughing and rolling when Pop-E came home.
July 26, 2007
BREAKING NEWS!
Daniel speaks for the 1st time and says "DADA". Of course, Daddy is at work and does not hear it. More to come!
July 26, 2007 to August 7th, 2007
The Michigan Trip!
Well the plan was to leave at 8:30pm to make sure we slept the whole 14 hour trip, but as usually nothing goes right when you start a long trip. Car would not start and by the time AAA showed up we did not get going until 10:30pm.

I was a good thing we left when we did. Have you ever driven across Pennsylvania in daylight. Must be the most boring trip to make and of course that summer "cow" smell is bad enough at night. Christopher and I kept asking each other "what did you do"?
Finally arrived in Chesaning and the town was ready for us with a big celebration.
Christopher did not take well to his new environment and was up almost every night crying and screaming. One night in particular, he screamed so laud the town thought there was an "air raid alert" and headed for the shelters - that's why you do not see any people in the picture of Main street.
Any way Daddy finally "flew" in - well he really flew into Flint, we are not sure if Chesaning has an airport, and was pick up at the airport for the 30 minute drive. We were all happy to see him and Christopher did not wake up the 1st night Daddy was there - we guess he missed that Daddy "smell".
We finally went for a stroll in town and passed by the "famous" Gerwirtz Hardware Store and Malt Shop. Strange that there are no pictures of the Malt Shop on the town website but we thimk it looks like the malt shop in "HAPPY DAYS"
Any way,  Daddy loves the Malt Shop and says he wants to buy it and move to Chesaning and run it - no stress type of job - but we will all weight a ton.
Great Grandma's 90th Birthday Party was a success and everyone had a great time. Here she is with her 3 Great Grandchildren
Daddy flew back on Monday and we headed back the next day.
The "Famous" Gewirtz's Hardware Store.
Chesaning, Michigan Welcomes Christopher & Daniel

Historic Chesaning is located on M-57 in southern Saginaw County on the Shiawassee River. It is often referred to as "Showboat City’ for its Showboat on the river that is used as a stage in the Showboat Festival held each summer. This city is also known for its preservation of "vintage" Victorian architecture which is very obvious with just a drive through town - an excursion definitely worth taking. This is especially the case on the west side, with a parkway style main street graced by an old clock and ornamental ball lamps. A walk by the river is also an enjoyable experience, where you can view the showboat and falls on the south and north sides of the bridge respectively.
Chesaning was first settled in 1839 by Thomas W. Wright. At that time, it was called Northhampton, and Wright became the first postmaster there. It was renamed "Chesaning,"(which in Indian stands for "Big Rock,") in 1853 and organized as a village in 1869
August 26th, 2007
Back at Grandma and Pop-E's since Mommy and Daddy are going house hunting and Grammy is in South Carolina and PopPop is at the NJ Shore
We think the real reason why Grammy and PopPop are away is that since we have moved in with them Christopher is waking up in the middle of the night crying and screaming and the entire house is then awake. So we think that they are away to get some needed "shut-eye"
Mommy and Daddy saw a number of house but did not find their "dream" house.
Also since Pop-E and Daddy (as well as various other family members) root for different teams - Mets/Yamkees, Jets/Giants, we dicided to keep piece in the family and root for a team no one in the USA follows. We are now "Rabid" fans of the "Tokyo Canadians Hockey " Team. Some day we plan on playing for them especially since it's manager, coach and owner will be Chris "Anto" Antonelli, a friend and college classmate of Uncle Greg.
Here we are trying on our team hats.
Here is the Team's Website http://www.tokyocanadians.com/index.html
August 11th, 2007

Daddy and I (Daniel and Mommy were napping at Grammy and PopPop's) made a quick trip to Grandma and Pop-E because Great Aunt Mackey and Uncle Dom were visiting on their way up from South Carolina. Grandma and Pop-E were going with them to Delhi, NY to visit cousins Patrice, Fred and Phillip and to see the house that Fred had built on the 50 acres he owns in Delphi.
We will have to get on Phillip's invite list for all the parties he will be throwing in Delhi.

Where PopPop was Born
August 18h, 2007
Well we have another buyer for the condo and it looks like the closing will be September 10th. Since Christopher is now at the stage of waking up in the middle of the night crying and waking everyone else up, the decision was made the move in with Grammy and PopPop earlier then the 10th. Hopefully this move will allow Mommy, Daddy and I (of course also Grammy and PopPop) to get a good night's sleep since Christopher and I will have cribs in separate rooms
Went to Grandma and Pop-E's house since they were going to watch us while Mommy and Daddy did some cleaning and other work at the condo because an inspector is coming to check the condo.
We were dropped off at 10am and Daddy came to get us at 4pm (Mommy was taken a quick "cat" nap before we arrived back at Grammy and PopPop's). This was the longest period of time that Grandma and Pop-E have ever watch us by themselves. We think it was a "TEST" to see if they would survive.
Now remember we are every good babies and all we need is hugging, kisses on the nose, playing, napping and eating and we certainly get a lot of that from all our Grandparents.
August 29th, 2007
Mommy told us that we were going over to Grandnma and Pop-E's to see some relatives that we have not seen in months. We kept trying to guess who they were, but Mommy kept saying we would just have to wait and see. When we got there, we did not recongize the van in front of the house, but as soon as we got in we realized that it was our cousin Maria, Bobby and Caroline1
The story was the Maria (the mommy) promised Bobby (the son) that he could see us before he started school again. Of course from the pictures it wasn't only Bobby who wanted to see us. We all had a good time and then Grandma had to leave to get her nails done. Maria, Bobby and Caroline had to leave because Bobby was going for a "weight-in" for football. And we headed home (to Grammy and PopPop's) so that Pop-E could start thinking about dinner. Oh, in case you did not know it, when Grandma gets her nails done she is not allowed to do anything - so says Josie the NAIL WOMAN.

12/30/06 to 4/15/07
9/3/07 to 12/31/07
from April 17, 2007 and August 29, 2007
1/1/08 to 12/31/08
Well we got our wish and Pop-E took us for a ride in the stroller. We went up the block and then down the block backwards - you know Pop-E always keeps the sun out of our eyes. All of a sudden a big red SUV stops and a women jumps out of the car. We were all set to start screaming because we thought we were going to be kidnapped, when Pop-E said hi Maria, these are my Grandsons - Christopher and Daniel. As she was taking to us her husband, Steve came over and then their daughter Deanna, who is 15th - lets see, when we are 15 she will be 30 - maybe to old. Any way they all agreed that we were cute and we always put on our best smiles when we hear that.
Soon after that Daniel's stomach started to talk, Daniel's lungs started to scream and Pop-E made a quick run for the garage. Just before we were leaving, we had a pictures taken with Colby - now if the 3 of us could look in the same direction at the same time - Oh what a picture it would have been!
Still can't figure out what head size has to do with anything - Uncle Greg has the smallest head in the family - but we guess it means something. Anyway Daniel has a VERY BIG HEAD. Some people say he is "ALL" head. We had the same shot and medicine as on March 2nd but this time Daniel hated the liquid while I took it like a PRO.
We were on a Boeing 757 to Honolulu and then a Boring 737 to Kauai. 3 Planes 15 1/2 hours. We think we could have been to the MOON
Well Grandma and Pop-E arrived and before we knew it we were in the carriage heading for a walk. Pop-E was pushing us and Grandma told him that she like to that, so she took over. Funny thing with Grandma pushing the carriage, you never exceed the speed limit and you never go near traffic.
Of course we were asleep with 2 minutes after the pushing started.
Since we did not know how long Daddy was going to be showing the condo, Grandma and Pop-E decided to take us over to see Uncle Scott - he only lives about 500 feet from us but we do not get to see him that much - he must be a busy guy.
Well, Uncle Scott was home and Grandma and Pop-E were carrying us into his condo just as Pop-E's cell phone rang. You probably guessed who it was - it was Daddy, perfect timing. He told Pop-E that everyone had left and why not come back so he did not have to bring our "stuff" to Uncle Scott's.
We were back in the carriage and back in our condo and before we knew it all of our toys and plaything were out again. Mommy came home, Grandma and Pop-E went home, we ate and finally were "put down". Daddy and Mommy were very happy because we slept for 10 straight hours with thoughts of "PEACHES" dancing in our heads.
Daniel, do your recognize anyone?
July 15, 2007
Heading off to Grandma and Pop-E's house for some BBQ.  I have been up at midnight the last few nights screaming and waking Daniel up. Mommy and Daddy give me more to eat and I go back to sleep - who turns down a "Midnight" snack. The reason I wake up is not my stomach but my ears - Daniel can snore and Mommy and Daddy never hear him. He knows that when I wake him up at Midnight, he better stop snoring or less I will be screaming at 2am and he needs more sleep then I do
Anyway, we get to Grandma and Pop's house and Pop-E and Uncle Scott were there but we did not see Grandma - we thought that maybe she was in Lord & Taylor buying us presents.  Mommy and Daddy were talking to Pop-E about looking at a few house and then next think I knew it was me and Pop-E standing in the living room.
Mommy, Daddy and Uncle Scott, grab Daniel and took off. I looked at Pop-E and said what's going on and Pop-E just smiled and then took me upstairs and we knocked on his bedroom door. We opened the door and their was Grandma in bed. Pop-E said that Grandma was not feeling well - something about "Baiting Hollow" pizza. She woke up and smiled and waved to me. Pop-E said that we could not get closer because we did not want me to get sick.
Pop-E then took me down stairs and put me on this "cool" comforter they have, It has Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Huey, Luey, Duey, Daisy and Goofy.  I love to play on it and in fact this was the same comforter that Daddy's use to play on. After a while Pop-E saw I was getting tired laying on the Comforter and said that he was going to get my favorite seat - it plays music, vibrates and talks to you
After a while Pop-E saw that we were tired of laying on the comforter and got our favorite seats and of course we had a great time in them again.
It was then time to eat and then a nap. Daniel was put in the "Pack and Play" and I was put in Grandma and Pop-E's bed with pillows all round me so I would not roll off. I like the bed because it is a lot softer than the "Pack and Play" and it reminds me of the great John Denver hit song -  "Grandma's Feather Bed".
The adults ate while we sleep (only for a little while) and when we woke up Pop-E took us for a ride in the stroller. Something about that stroller. No matter how had we try we can not stay awake. We like to look at the the trees, birds, squirrels, etc. but the way Pop-E pushes us and talks to us, the inevitable happens and we are asleep. Pop-E had us sleeping for about an hour and all he did was walk in a circle to keep us in the shade so we did not get he sun in our eyes - neither of us like that.
Pop-E was out walking us for so long in this circle he started to wonder why Mommy or Daddy or Grandma were not coming out to see how everything was. You know we could have been kidnapped or Pop-E could have "flipped" out and the next thing you would have seen were The National Inquirer headlines that read - "Deranged Grandfather found in Brazil with Twin Grandsons"
Any way Pop-E did not "flip" out and we were not kidnapped and we finally woke up just as Pop-E was pushing us into the garage. Mommy and Grandma had our bottle ready because you can certainly get thirsty on those long stroller rides
Eventually we headed home to get ready for our upcoming trip to Michigan. That's right we will be on the road again. We are going with Grammy, PopPop and Mommy (in the car) to the town where PopPop grow up to see our Great Grandmother (who will be 90 years old) and all the other relatives who live in Chesaning, Michigan.
Hopefully, we will have some interesting stories about this trip, especially the famous family owned and run "Malt Shop" and the "Gewirtz Hardware" store in the next update of the Chronicles.

The high light of the the day was that we got to play in our 1st "Texas Holdem" card game. Well maybe not play, maybe just spectators is more like it, since Daddy and Pop-E were holding us and playing. Here is the pictures of all the present and and future Daddy's in our immediate family. Of course, Uncle Greg and Uncle David are not in the picture but if you look closely you can see them there in spirit. We it got pretty late and we were finally put "down" (this is the word Daddy always uses) for the night since we are going to sleep at Grammy and PopPop's house so that Daddy can have an easier commute in the morning.
